Our annual exhibition took place on Saturday 13th of November at King Edward VI Sheldon Heath Academy.
Our thanks and appreciation to King Edward VI Sheldon Heath Academy for the use of their facilities, the selectors, entrants and everyone who made it such a great success.
"Congratulations to all who have had work accepted, and awards winners. Thanks to every one of you who sent in an entry, and thus for making it possible for us to hold this exhibition.
If you were not successful this year, we wish you success in future exhibitions that you enter.
A big thank you goes to the Yardley team for all of their hard work during the months of preparation, the judging days and the setting up and running of the exhibition. Especially appreciated were the refreshments on hand which helped the judging days to go smoothly. Thank you also to friends and family who have helped in many ways."

Comments from our Selectors -
Panels:
"Really great to see such a wide variety of panels with much creativity in evidence. It is such a difficult discipline to tackle, many authors doing so with great competence and skill.
It was a pleasure judging this work."

General Sections of Prints and Projected Digital Images:
"We had a thoroughly enjoyable day judging the Yardley PS Exhibition. The monochrome print section was of a very high standard overall and the award winning images were exceptional. The standard of colour prints was more variable but there were some super landscapes and some notable sports images. As with the monochrome section, the award winners were exceptional.
We liked the variety of subjects shown in the digital projected image section. As is often the case in this section, the quality of some rejected images left room for improvement. However we believe that the accepted images will make a super show and include some outstanding award winners.
We would like to thank members of Yardley PS for all their hard work during the day and their generous hospitality."

Nature Prints and Nature Projected Images:
"The standard of the exhibition was very high, and I found the selecting of the final nature awards very difficult, as always I did enjoy the pictures very much. I did notice that there were quite a few pictures with cute titles; as this was a nature competition I felt that the subjects should have been named with the correct title, i.e. a Robin is a Robin and not a pretty bird etc.
Congratulations to all of the award and accepted authors pictures, for those who didn’t have any accepted please try again. I would also like to thank all of the members of Yardley PS for their kind hospitality on the day."

Yardley Club Members Section:
"Lovely to see a wide variety of subject matter with much being of a very high standard. Some work would have been greatly improved by more careful thought being given to the cropping of the image. Keep up the good work."
