"Beneath the Red Sea" A digital presentation by Andrzej Jablonski:

On Friday 16th March 2007, the members of Yardley Photographic Society, including many visitors, were fortunate to experience a special evening by one of this country's foremost underwater photographers: Andrzej Jablonski.

Many thanks to Andrzei for providing such an enjoyable and instructive evening, Sheldon Heath Community Arts College for the use of their facilities, Peter Jackson for arranging the lecture, and everyone who attended.

 

Reverend Lionel Fanthorpe - "Unsolved Mysteries"

On Tuesday 24th October 2006, Yardley Photographic Society was given a lecture by the Reverend Lionel Fanthorpe entitled "Unsolved Mysteries". Anyone who remembers the television programme Fortean TV or the magazine Fortean Times would be aware of the entertaining and informative evening we were treated to.

Exhibition: Yew Tree Shopping Centre, 27th September, 2005

The exhibition held at the Yew Tree shopping centre was a great success, with many people taking a look at the selection of work which members had submitted.

Our thanks go to Birmingham Midshires and staff for allowing us to set up our display outside of their Yardley branch and to the members of the public who made the exhibition so worthwhile. Thanks also to all members who put forward work and those who gave their time to make the exhibition possible.
